Hope. Awareness. Support.

THE HEART OF IT ALL

More than a diagnosis.
A girl worth showing up for.

Carli lives with Rett syndrome. Her journey is one her family shouldn’t have to walk alone.

This is a place for everyone who wants to stand beside them — through a donation, a little keepsake, or simply showing up for our awareness walk.

One step. One act of kindness. One community around Carli.

SEE THE PERSON. UNDERSTAND THE JOURNEY.

Awareness begins
with understanding.

A diagnosis is only part of someone’s story.

Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurodevelopmental condition, most often linked to changes in the MECP2 gene. It can affect communication, movement and everyday activities. Each person’s experience is different.

Seeing the person, including them and supporting their family can make a meaningful difference.

join us.

Yes. Entry for the 5 km awareness walk is R20 per person. Please pay by EFT to Capitec account 1423789170, held by C O’Reilly. Use your name and the number of people as the payment reference (for example, Tanya 3). Additional donations are optional.

Can I register for my family or friends?

Yes. Please submit a separate registration for each walker, with their name, surname, phone number, email address and payment status, so the organisers have an accurate attendance record. A group EFT should cover R20 per person.

How can I buy Carli earrings?
